It seems you had been using the plugin before runtimes were installed, so AIMP may be disabled the plugin due to loading failure.
To fix this, close AIMP instance, open "AIMP.ini" file within "[your-AIMP-installation-directory]/Profile" directory, search and delete these lines (it may differ from your file, but should look similar):
[Plugins]
aimp_floating_lyrics.dll=0

[Plugins.CachedInfo]
aimp_floating_lyrics.dll=0|||||1552900961

Try launching AIMP after that, plugin should work now.

I think I'll stick with "AutoLyric6.3.0_setup.exe" or another "AimpDesktopLyricsCpp.zip" plugin, as it's simple and easy to use.

I think I'll stick with "AutoLyric6.3.0_setup.exe" or another "AimpDesktopLyricsCpp.zip" plugin, as it's simple and easy to use.

About confliction, I'll try to investigate. 
About absence of floating lyrics: my plugin will not open floating lyrics window by default, it requires user to tick "Floating Lyrics" menu item from AIMP's main menu to open it for the first of the time. 
And it's totally fine to stick with other plugins, just enjoy music

And sorry to see you have trouble, first, make sure you have VC++ 2012 Runtime installed as described in my post. 
And I can confirm that the black lyrics playing window in the video is not my plugin's floating lyrics window,
my plugin is currently known to possibly conflict with other lyrics playing plugins, I must apologize that I have not investigated the reason so far, I will do that in next major version release(should not take so long).   
Currently, you can try uninstalling other lyrics playing plugins and see if my plugin works. 
Or you can just uninstall my plugin and wait for my updates(if you are willing to : ) ), thank you for your understanding!

Could you please try with a clean installation of AIMP player and see if the issues still exist?
Also, it looks like you are using a beta version of AIMP(v5.40.2675 beta, I couldn't find a place to download this version), can you also try with latest stable version(v5.40.2716)?

Weird, I can't seem to re-produce the issue, even on my old windows 10 laptop. 
But your issue is really important to me. 
1. Can you open windows Event Viewer(right-click window icon on task bar - select Event Viewer), try to find any "Application Error" or ".NET Runtime" entries about "AIMP"(especially ".NET Runtime" ones), and share what it said to me? 
(I got a screenshot below in case you are not sure about this) 
2. Here I got a verbose build of my plugin in attachment, this one will always open a console window when launching and output useful information, could you please install this verbose build and share the console's outputs with me (a video including the console window is appreciated)? 
(Note that when select any text in console window, the whole application will freeze. If that happens, just focus on console window and hit "Enter" key.)
