Priority logic for Radio Station Logo vs. ICY Track Artwork

Hello Artem,

Thank you for developing AIMP. It's an amazing player! I would like to propose a small improvement regarding how album covers and radio station logos are displayed during internet radio playback.

Current Behavior:
When I set a custom logo for a radio station (via File Info -> Basic -> Choose logo and write to file), this logo is permanently displayed in the album cover area, even when the stream provides ICY track info and a track-specific album art is successfully fetched from the internet.

Proposed Behavior:
Could it be possible to add a smarter fallback/priority logic?

If a track has ICY metadata AND a track-specific album cover is found online, temporarily display the track's album cover instead of the radio station logo.

When the track changes (or if no ICY info/track art is available), revert back to displaying the radio station logo.

This would make internet radio listening much more visually engaging, as users could see the actual album art of the currently playing song while still keeping the station's branding when no song-specific art is available.

Current priority is:
1) Custom logo
2) Track's album art

Ah, I understand the current priority now.

However, having Custom logo at #1 creates a dilemma for internet radio listeners:
When I set a custom logo for a radio station, it permanently locks the display, making it impossible to ever see the Track's album art (#2) when a song is playing.

Would it make more sense to adjust the priority to:

Track's album art (when ICY info & track art are available)

Custom logo / Station logo (when no track art is available)

This way, users can enjoy both the station's branding and the actual song artwork dynamically. Thank you!

How you've specified custom url for logo? What app version you using?

Here are my details:

App Version: AIMP v6.00.3092 Beta 7 (Win 32-bit Portable, Oct 22, 2026).

How I set the custom logo:
Press F4 (File Info) on the radio station in the playlist.   
Go to the Basic tab.   
Click on the image area on the bottom right, select my own logo image file,
and check "Write to file" (as shown in the attached screenshot).   



Because of this, the custom logo acts as #1 priority and always stays on the screen, preventing the actual song's album art from showing when ICY metadata is available. I hope this clarifies how it's configured!
