Hi,
I have a feature suggestion for both Windows and Android versions of AIMP. It is about a
fully automatic sorting system
for people who just throw various songs onto a USB flash drive for a casual party or a backyard barbecue.
It would be amazing to have a single "Smart Party Sort" button. When clicked, AIMP should
automatically analyze and organize the playlist without any manual work from the user
.
How it should work automatically:
The player should scan the tracks and arrange them in a natural party flow:
1. It starts automatically with slow, quiet background tracks (for talking and eating).
2. It naturally transitions into mid-tempo music (for foot-tapping in the background).
3. It automatically ends with the fastest, high-energy dance hits later in the evening.
Currently, if you just throw random songs onto a pendrive, you have to sort them manually or use Shuffle, which can play heavy dance tracks too early. Having a built-in feature that does this
100% automatically
would be a game-changer for casual users who just want to hit play and enjoy the party.
Thank you for considering this! Keep up the great work.

1) Use Advanced Tag Editor tool to analyze BPM for all of your tracks, after analysis the tool will save this information to file tags.
2) Next, use %BPM macro to sort your files in playlist or to rename due export to USB drive.
