if double-clicking the volume bar would reset it to its default value
I would also like to suggest implementing hotkeys for all audio effects: Echo, Reverb, Flanger, Chorus, Bass, Intensity, and Tone, as well as Speed and Time Stretching. For example, I use a hotkey for speed increase, where each press increases the speed by 0.20. If this increment value could be adjustable, it would greatly improve the experience.
I have seen many users discussing similar issues, so I wanted to bring it up.
If I press it three times, the speed decreases to 0.50 and cannot go lower than that. The issue is that if I continue using the speed increase hotkey afterward, the speed can go up to 110 again because it keeps increasing by 0.20%.
The final suggestion is adding a “fade out” when stopping a song, but not an instant cut—rather a smooth fade-out lasting around 2–3 seconds. I believe this has been discussed many times and would be a great feature if it could be customizable or at least available as a plugin, similar to KSpeed which you already had since 2012.
right-clicking does it now
What is your scenario? Do you often adjust these effects during the listening process? You can use the keyboard or mouse wheel to precisely position the effects.
Understand, but what you suggests to do in this case? Force the adjustments throught 100% value?
It already implemented. Refer to Sound Effects \ "Use sound fading on pause / resumt". Fading effect is about 1 second.
Can you share the links to these discussions?
I honestly did not expect such a fast reply, and I really appreciate the attention to user feedback.
My suggestion is that double-clicking the volume bar with the left mouse button would return the volume to a default level (for example 50%), or preferably a value that can be configured in the settings. This would allow faster adjustment without opening a menu, especially when changing the volume frequently.
My idea is about controlling some parameters directly using hotkeys, without opening the effects window.
Speed in particular is something that may be adjusted frequently during playback, so being able to control it quickly with hotkeys could make the workflow faster. In that situation, using hotkeys would allow real-time adjustments without switching windows or opening the effects panel.
What I mean is having a configurable hotkey control specifically for the speed parameter inside the Sound Effects panel. For example, the user could define a step value (e.g. 0.10, 0.20, or 0.50), and then when using the hotkey, that predefined step would be applied consistently to the speed adjustment.
