Double click on a music file does not play

It used to be I could double click an mp3 file or a FLAC music file (song) and AIMP would play, but now it loads the file but it just sits there.  I have to open the player and hit the play button to get it to play.

How do I re-enable the double click/play feature?

Refer to app settings \ playlist \ File Adding \ Open files from external applications, and ensure the "begin playback immediately" option is switched on
