Sorting by year moves tracks within an album out of order?

Hi, apologies if this has been asked/answered elsewhere, I had a look but couldn't see.

In the music library screen sometimes when I go sort the albums in chronological order it will change the order of the tracks within the album:


Is there a way I can list the albums in chronological order and preserve their correct track order?

I tried sorting by track # but that will then sometimes change the list of the albums:

Sort by year, then Control-Click by track number column.
