I did all the steps provided by facebookgeorgepicktor. It works but I must launch MiniLyrics manually each time I launch AIMP. Someone knows how to make that MiniLyrics launch automatically?

By now I have the solution to launch both programs with an autohotkey script, but probably it will be more efficient to fix Minilyrics some way such that it launch automatically when AIMP launches.

Try to delete the folder C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Minilyrics

Well, same machine, same versions of Minilyrics & AIMP. No-one knows why this procedure doesn't work anymore, after the format of my machine and the installation of the latest 1809 version of Windows 10. This will stay a mystery. LoL. But...
I did a desperate movement. I did the opposite!

1) I changed the executable file from AIMP.exe to AIMP3. EXE
2) I executed the setup of Minilyrics and software routine found the needed executable, and created by its own the .dll file and the .ini file, INTO ROOT "Plugins" folder of AIMP.
3) I just simply created the folder "gen_MiniLyrics" and copied these 2 files to that folder (I leave the copies of these 2 files untouchable into 'Plugins" folder of AIMP).
4) I tried to play a .mp3 file and followed the usual procedure to open the .mp3 files always with AIMP software (it was like a new AIMP installation). The .mp3 files changed their icon to something new (probably the old icon for .mp3 of AIMP2).

That was all...  NOW MINILYRICS STARTS AUTOMATICALLY WITH AIMP

   I had minilyrics running in Aimp 5 only i had to star minilyrics manual, now i tried to use your tutorial now minilyrics is doing nothing anymore in Aimp and in Winamp, it only says that i didnt open any media.

Here's an alternative solution. Patched via hex editor gen_MiniLyrics.dll
