I find no other option for adding cue file to the playlist other than drag'n'dropping the file from windows explorer. The file select menu displays only supported extensions for audio files or playlist files but none of them contains cue files.
Another much more important issue is that if we chanage extension of for example song.mp3 to song.foofoo then it could not be added and played by any means
CUE can be imported as playlist.
What reason to rename the extensions? AIMP cannot play the files if it has a different extension.
Still it would be nice for that extension to be available from add file menu, so I could select from a specific folder some cue files and other audio files which are not embedded into any cue file.
Well I have a bunch of audio files which are mp3 or wav files but with different extension which are used by very old software so for normal user they are not supposed to be treated like audio files. After thinking a little bit longer that is ok if Aimp doesn't support weird extensions, no need to complicate the software developement for a niche usage.
