AIMP YouTube-DL (support for YouTube, SoundCloud, MixCloud, Yandex.Music, etc.)

[CatN203]

YouTube-DL plugin mod update

Download (OneDrive)

Changes in the modified version:
v1.0
- "add link" button in the playlist context menu
- youtube-dl replaced with yt-dlp
- python 3.10
- improved metadata support
- disabled yt-dlp auto update on AIMP launch (manual update via the plugin settings window)
- removed the error popup window if artwork lookup has failed

v2.0
- python 3.12
- user-agent can be changed
- support for YoutubeDL parameters

You can find the all possible parameters here:
https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/blob/master/yt_dlp/options.py
https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/blob/master/yt_dlp/YoutubeDL.py
For example, the "--ignore-errors" command line option has a corresponding parameter "ignoreerrors" in options.py:

Code: [Select]

general.add_option(
        '-i', '--ignore-errors',
        action='store_true', dest='ignoreerrors',
help='Ignore download and postprocessing errors. The download will be considered successful even if the postprocessing fails')
