How to lock M3U playlist track titles for Internet Radio and prevent ICY metadat

Hi everyone,

I am using AIMP to organize a multi-category internet radio playlist imported from .m3u8 files. I have customized each stream's display name (using specific prefixes like [Region] Station Name) so that AIMP can correctly group them using custom scripting (%StrLeft(%Title,%StrPos(],%Title))).

However, I am running into an issue where AIMP automatically overwrites my customized playlist item names while streaming:

When a station sends dynamic ICY metadata (e.g., current playing track title or station title), the playlist entry updates to show the track name instead of my custom station name.

For some streams, the name even changes to "No Name" or gets replaced by raw server titles/URLs.

Since my AIMP playlist grouping logic relies entirely on the fixed custom titles in my .m3u8 file, having these titles dynamically overwritten breaks my custom grouping and makes the playlist look messy.

Is there a setting in AIMP to completely lock/freeze the playlist entry titles for network streams, forcing AIMP to display ONLY the fixed titles defined in #EXTINF from the .m3u8 file without updating them from stream metadata?

Any guidance or recommended settings/scripts would be greatly appreciated!

I found a way to keep playlist radio station name not changed by ICY metadata：

1. on individual Radio Station Setting : add the same radio station name to "Publisher" tag


2. on radio playlist personal settings - format settings : use %Publisher instead of %Titles



I hope Radio Capture setting - File name template, can add %publisher%
so the saved filename will not be affect by ICY metadata, too.
