Half the tracks in a playlist not accessible after moving the album folders?

I have about 20 albums in a playlist, 460 files. When I move the album folders and playlist being in the album folder to a sub folder, about half the tracks are not accessible anymore in the playist. Why is that? How could one correct that? Respectivle how could one move the album folders keeping the playlist fully working?
