Hi Dear,

In Windows and now also in the debian version, 


The Scalling is not working.     if you have 4k LED,  go your self and play on a 1k Screen, or i have 1366x768


I can't understand why you need dpi in the mainoptions, if you like , you can keep,   


but i like also to have 50% 30% or so there....


And anyway,  it not scalling at all,  total broken the Beta System for SDL   Linux...    (wars also broken in Windows the scalling, not working)


The downscaling i think must be easer then a up scalling, what you do?

I follow you over years now,  is a very intresint projekt,  but the scalling wars allways a problem. The only one he can fit is you as person my friend.


Over the Years,, i never really start the edit software,  because, there are missing,,   start projekt,  middle projekt, and expensive projekt as Examples by install on my Harddisk.     

Can you fix the scalling?  and can you put some examples for Beginners in the Editor Software?

The downscaling i think must be easer then a up scalling, what you do?

Downscaling available only for skinned windows that does not support for full hd screens.

i have 1366x768

But minimal required screen resolution for a player is 1600x1200.

The Scalling is not working.

How to reproduce it? What scaling are set on your Linux OS's settings?

i am not shure,  your are willing to fix it.


The new Revox Reel,  i can't use on 1920x1200  ,  i see only a quarter of a reel.

i use XORG,  normally,  waveland,  i start in 5 years when the tools there

As I said, I've been watching your work for years. Unfortunately, the scaling isn't working.

If you do it in Linux with "Waveland," that's fine with me. At least then I'll know. But the expert settings with DPI aren't very helpful, so you can do that if you like.

I prefer scaling in percent, or fullscreen, or windowed in percent.

If you can manage that, that would be great.

It would also be cool if the editor came with examples.

How it looks like? How to reproduce that? Can you provide any screenshot that illustrates the issue?

It's possible that the screen might sometimes be positioned horizontally instead of vertically.

Then functions like resize, full-width, full-height, and fullscreen would be very useful.

Currently, the only option available is upscaling.

What I don't quite understand is that if you increase the DPI, the displayed image should mathematically become smaller. Could it be that this is a mistake in the function?

Some skins are designed especailly to 4K screen.
In AIMP6, we've introduced an option that allows to downscale the window, refer to window's menu:

Currently, the only option available is upscaling.

You talking about global UI scaling factor. That is wrong option for your case.
