I was going to say if you get ANY issues with contextual menu check out EcMenu (current version 1.6 & there's a 64 bit version) at sordum dot org.

Enables you to add, remove and best of all a proper "refresh" of CMM's

Also "SendToEditor" (x64) is another useful tool allowing you to easily add send to (surprise surprise) cmm's for apps without a contextual menu option.

Both are available direct from the excellent free utilities site Sordum dot org.

Another consideration would be "Configure FileMenus Tool" although not free it's free licence is still great.

As question.

Many skins (my favourite types) incorporate the music library displaying the cover (+ 2 other modes)

I'm sure I was able to double click the cover art and the album would play but I no longer can do this - i thought perhaps it is either a setting i've disabled without knowing or related to the 1 skin.

Below are a handful of skins that display the music library with in their skin to provide an example of what I mean:-

Alchemy
Unfavourable
FUi Dark
Janguru
Deep_Dark
Chroma
AMP Color

and many many more


Is it possible to play music by clicking/double clicking the cover art? (right clicking play all or play selected also doesn't seem to work for me).


I'm sure you know what i mean but I've included a screen cap also.

Kudos, I love these old hardware skins - totally impracticable to use but they look SO good.

PLEASE do - "us" (all 1 of "us" it seems, well maybe 2 including yourself) are desperate for a new, quality, modern aspect ratio visualiser that can benefit from current hardware, considering all but, no I think all visualisers were developed a decade ago - even GForce & iTunes visualisers have, just as milkdrop, likely seen little to no upgrades.

Anyone know why nobody (beside the intentions of the op) make visualisers anymore?

IF only - I've spent far too many hours searching for visi's & trying to get them to work with Aimp4.
The 1 thing AIMP lacks is a quality visualiser or the ability to at least host those (leftover relics) from soundjam etc.

Classic Spectrumn 1.3.1 is about the only "visualiser" I use with AIMP - If I want "pretty" I use MusicBee. (If only someone could "wrap" iTunes's visualiser to work in other players, (ignoring the meh apple of it all), it's a damn good visualiser.

G.Force standalone (I assume there's still no instal for gforce for aimp*) is an option but being standalone = extra resources not forgetting the free version has immersion breaking pop ups.

It's a pity as MilkDrop is in the top 3 of visi's and with the far more powerful hardware we have access to compared to a decade ago when most of them were made, not seeing a new vis on the block is disappointing to say the least.
I'd love to buy a small projector purely for visualisers might still do and just buy GForce but how soon will a handful of visualisers become repetitive?

Do people really not like them anymore??

Quick question.

All the spectragrams used in your skins - excellent.
I assume they are made by yourself?
If yes can they be made into individual visulaisers? Basically (8+?) Aimp Visualiser pack? (the old sonique visi's are very out dated & don't translate well on modern aspect ratio monitors)
I'd rather see a spectragram visual audio display out of channels or other audio output's based exactly on what your's do than see swirly images. (GForce or MilkDrop 2.5 does that best).

Will you consider releasing them as a pack or are you finished with Aimp?

Thank You for (imo) the BEST, most original skin here.

And there are some EXCELLENT skins but your Koyna set displays 1/ skins don't have to look like an alien console and that simple, effective design combined will talent is the key to a  great skin.

I love 100's of skins here but this is the 1 I use 99% of the time.

If I could request 2 things (well it's about 15 wrapped up in 2).
1/ to have more than 4 decks & save as preset 1, 2,3 etc.
Such as a horizontal row of 1x10,12(?) across the entire monitor(s) or if vertical rows of - currently it's 1 row with 4 decks to have 2x4 or 3x4,4x4 etc so ALL FX could be seen plus a full length playlist as well as all info of the media playing etc

Yeah, it would be great but I expect not for you not only is it not necessary changes, I assume it would be a ridiculously amount of work for you so I don't expect to see them added because the skin is awesome as it is!

Resizing (Normal, Large, Largest settings for example) would be useful, oddly "Grandma" skin , lol, was not quite what I'm thinking.
The idea of a larger skin is to be able to cast the musics info to a tv or projector overlaid a visulaizer playing such as GForce for a DJ-less house/chilling/tripping party would be cool AF & it'd save having to tell "that" 1 person what the track playing is called.

The 1 real request would be for you to make more skins - you have the talent to make a simple yet awesome skin, what else you could make I'd love to see but after 333, is it possible to make a better skin? I know I couldn't, only you know.

Anyway the real reason for me to make this comment was simply to say THANK YOU !! for making the closest to perfect skin I've ever used (I've tried nearly 100 audio players (actually I may have tried more - I dont tihkn there's many left that i haven't tried out), also spent months messing with layouts in foobar, musicbee, meidamonkey etc and tried ... at LEAST 300 probably more different skins and this is THE skin I use 99% of the time when using Aimp, and becaue of this skin I've stopped using musicbee (which I spent months setting up 5 different portable installs with different layours/ colours/ key sets and more, only to stop using it when i found your skins. .

(and to all other skin makeers, especially those reel to reel skins - dont get me wrong, your skins are awesome too, I just love this skin that bit more.)
