https://github.com/chaotic-aur/packages/issues/4469
I requested this app to be included in an official arch repository and they rejected saying the license currently has unclear standing on packaging and distribution as currently for installation you have
1.2. You may to distribute this software in the form of the original installation distribution file(s) and only for free.
2.2. You mustn't distribute non-original installation distribution file(s) (without Right holder’s permission)
and they said
"License appears to be incompatible with packaging.
license.txt.gz
The developer felt it was important enough to mention twice:
1.2. You may to distribute this software in the form of the original installation distribution file(s) and only for free.
2.2. You mustn't distribute non-original installation distribution file(s) (without Right holder’s permission)
Since repackaging and distribution doesn't involve installation or usage, the EULA may not apply. But I don't think that is an intended loophole.
Installation, as well as usage the Software Product "AIMP" confirmed that you agree with this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, You mustn't install or use this Software Product.
"
Please give guidance and if you could add additional clause for linux builds

Since repackaging and distribution doesn't involve installation or usage, the EULA may not apply. But I don't think that is an intended loophole.
Repackaging the distribution is generally prohibited; a separate permit is required for this action. The reason is simple: after repackaging, the logic that our installer executes when installing/updating the program may be lost.
We already have separate package for Arch Linux, please use it instead of made your own. In any case, we plan to be included in the official repositories of popular distributions after the release.

OH ok
I have currently installed from the official arch linux package from downloads.
I just wanted to check if possible to include in chaotic-aur as i didnt want to open and download from website.
But if future plans to integrate with any official arch repo is there then that is enough for me.
Thanks for the information.
