Title: Track / Album "Remaster" on Aimp
Post by: scarf on July 18, 2026, 20:32:13
Hello

I have some Opus format files ripped directly from the original vinyls. The problem is that, given the age of the recordings, these files sound very quiet.

I'd like to know if there's any way to "remaster" them using AIMP without destroying the files by re-converting them.

I'd like to increase the gain by about 4 or 5 dB, but I don't know how to make the changes permanent. I only want to do this with those two albums.

There's a Replay Gain option in the tag editor, but it only shows the gain values and peaks.

The only thing I found that does what I need is in Sound Effects > Volume tab > ReplayGain, but when it's enabled, it affects all the files while it's enabled, and it doesn't save the changes.

Я бы хотел увеличить усиление примерно на 4–5 дБ, но не знаю, как сделать эти изменения постоянными. Я хочу сделать это только для этих двух альбомов.
