Hello!
Just discovered AIMP and really, really like it. But there is one very irritating issue... It's the "Send to other playlist". The way it works now is truly a PITA (Pain In The Ass). Here is a suggested enhancement of what I would like AIMP to do with "Send to other playlist".
1. Make or enable configurable HOT KEYS for this. If the Hot Key is used, a Panel, Window or popup opens, with all the Playlists listed and user clicks desired playlist.
2. In Preferences|Player|Hot keys|Playlist, add configurable Hot Key options for a playlist MOVE and a COPY action. For example:
Copy Track to Playlist: [Control+C] = Copy song/track to selected playlist, keeping song/track in current playlist.
Move Track to Playlist: [Control+M] = Move song/track to selected playlist, removing song/track in current playlist.
3. In the "Send to other playlist" window (popup or slide out), add a ✅ or a bullet next to playlists that already have or contain the song/track. This would be very helpful if there are many playlists to choose from.
4. Along with item #3 above, there are times you want to Copy or Move a song/track into multiple and different playlists. Rather than repeat the process of using the Hot Key several times, open a dialog list box (similar to the "Send to|Copy/Move to...") where all the playlists are displayed and you check each playlist to Copy or Move to, then click the "OK" button to complete the action. If this is implemented, then item #3 is not necessary as this is the best of both.
I believe many, if not most of the AIMP user community would find this very helpful and intuitive to use.
I have a large library of songs I am trying to sort through to put into a dozen or more playlists and the suggested enhancements would save me much valuable time in doing this. I hope you agree!
