Hi everyone,

I’m incredibly happy to hear that AIMP is finally coming to Linux! As a long-time AIMP user on Windows and a huge Linux enthusiast, this is literally a dream come true for me. I’ve been waiting for this for decades!

The player is already amazing, but there is one small step forward that would make many of us even happier: an ARM version for Linux.

Being able to run this magic on devices like the Orange Pi would be the biggest leap in years for this project. Having AIMP's quality on low-consumption ARM boards would be a total game-changer.

Thank you.

First, I should make a stable release of AIMP for Linux.
Next, I'm not sure that raspberry pi can operate with Wayland and AIMP very well. So, I need to research this

Remember that there are powerful Orange Pi boards on the market, so an ARM version, and even a Windows version for ARM, would be a welcome addition. I say this because the ARM market is growing, especially with boards like the Orange Pi and Raspberry Pi. If you want to highlight this great player, my idea wouldn't be an exaggeration. Excellent work on that Linux version! Windows is currently experiencing its worst market share with Windows 11. Many gamers are switching to Linux, and the Steam Deck sector also uses Linux. Undoubtedly, the AIMP Linux version won't be a waste of time. Good luck! ;)
