When I start my car which has a bluetooth receiver, I have AIMP set so it should start autoplaying when it connects, but it's changed to where I have to now press the play button on the receiver to start it. I've run into this previously and thankfully it stopped, but in the past month or so it's sadly come back. From when it worked to when it did I changed absolutely nothing, so it was either an Android update or AIMP update which broke it.
Here's why I know it's a bug and related to AIMP seemingly being unloaded/inactive or something: When this happens, if I open up AIMP, it will start playing automatically like it should. If I turn off the car and try again shortly after, it will work fine. But if I try again without doing that in maybe an hour, it's back to needing to press the play button on the BT receiver. It's incredibly frustrating.
Pixel 9 - Android 16 CPA1.260305.018

- Allow background usage is enabled. I had it on Optimized but even tried putting it on Unrestricted. Didn't help.
- On App startup: Start Playback
- Play when headset & bluetooth headset plugged: both enabled
- Require Audio focus to play: enabled
- Auto-close app background service: never

There is no Earphone mode in Sound & vibration
May be, it has a different name in your phone's firmware

@Artenm do you know what it might be I'm using the most current android version, 16 with the Pixel 9.
What else could be causing this? Again I never changed anything with AIMP when it happened. It seems like the app is being suspended since like I said if it doesn't work, and I actually open the app, it will then start autoplaying right away.

Refer to the "About" dialog of the app, and check the "enable logging" option. Restart the app. Now, reproduce an issue and send the log file to me. Please, report to me a approximate time when issue was happened.
