Title: Precision Input for Playback Speed & Pitch
Post by: SargeK on January 24, 2026, 20:57:02
In the app’s equalizer, I really appreciate the ability to adjust dB levels both with the slider and by tapping to enter a precise value via the keyboard. This is very handy for fine-tuning.

However, I’ve noticed this precision input option isn’t available in the playback speed section. Currently, trying to set the speed in small increments (e.g., 0.01x) using the slider is difficult, as the value often shifts slightly when lifting my finger, making it hard to land on the exact setting I want.

My suggestion:
Allow the user to tap on the labels "Pitch: 0.0st" and "Playback Speed: 1.00x" to open a numeric input dialog, similar to the equalizer’s keyboard input. This dialog should include Reset, Cancel, and Accept/OK buttons to match the existing user experience.

This would bring much-needed precision to speed and pitch adjustments and create a consistent, intuitive interaction pattern across the app.

Thanks for considering this improvement!

just sorry for my english.
why for this change will be usefull?
we have ± 5% switch now.  it's cover all usability for listening. 1 percent step or digital input is overkill. this my own opinion.
