Title: Android: Want playlist to use #EXTINF tags, not ID3
Post by: E_User1234 on January 23, 2026, 21:12:36
I want my playlist to use #EXTINF tags, not ID3

When I look this up it said,

Navigate to Preferences > Player > Titles.
Ensure the option "Read metadata when file(s) are viewed or played in the playlist editor" is unchecked. This forces AIMP to use #EXTINF title if it exists in the playlist file.
There is no "player" section in the settings tab.
