Yesterday I installed Windows 11 on both of my computers, AIMP was already installed and had been working perfectly on both machines prior to 11. Now AIMP only shuffles on one computer and not the other. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still couldn't get it to work. I have my own music file on the desktop with various sub files and formerly used AIMP with Windows play/play all ability but windows 11 does not have the previous option. What can I do to get AIMP to shuffle my music. When I have shuffle on and press the next track arrow it starts playing the current song playing over again. I also when through all the settings to insure they matched the settings in AIMP that was shuffling. Any help would really be appreciated

I did what you told me to do and it identify s the subfolder and the song that I start with but just plays over and over

I don't know what to record. We changed the motherboard , processor and ram which was previously installed in my other machine which was running AIMP and is currently working as I want it to. This was done to upgrade so it would take Windows 11. We then downloaded Windows 11. Thats pretty well it

I have discovered something and it may or may not be pertinent. I have Asus motherboards with AMD processors. When we changed the hardware the one machine where Aimp is work had the Realtek driver and audio console installed it is version 6.0.988.1 and was installed when I had the machine built 5 years ago. I checked the machine where Aimp will not work it when Windows 11 was installed it did not install the Realtek software. Prior to putting the Ne asus and amd hardware in the non functioning machine it was Intel processor and Asus board. Could this been an issue? Thanks dave

I have no idea how it may related to shuffle function?

Have been working on this problem and still havent come up with a solution. I installed the realtek drivers and they work fine. If I delete AIMP from my machine, my PC makes the ITunes player as the default play and when I open a song on my desktop playlist it plays that song then continues through the entire playlist shuffling all the songs. Would transfering all my desktop music file to aimp possibly solve my issue and what is the easiest way to transfer each titled file and its contents. Im not overly tech savy. On another note Foobar and Winamp will not do what I want either. Suggestions or advice appreciated. Dave

Sorry to bother you all again but one thing I noticed is that on the machine on which Aimp is working is the latest 32 bit version for windows 11. I have been downloading Aimp 64 bit latest release for windows 11 on the machine that Aimp wont work on. 32 or 64 bit install? Thoughts and advice appreciated Dave
