Title: About the 5.40.x final

Just curious as to if there is a particular problem that is proving hard to solve that is postponing the release of a 5.40.x PC Final. Never saw such a large gap between new versions before, especially when the Android version seems on-track.

v5.40 is very unstable for now, I still receiving tens of crash-reports every day. Anyway, its not a first time. The longest release we had was v4.60 (about 7 months).
