Title: How can I stop the Android version from constantly updating?

I have AIMP running on my Android tablet constantly but the playback stops for updates requiring somebody to restart the playlist each time so is there a way of preventing these automatic updates that are disrupting playlists and stopping them?

If you are talking about updating program versions, then this is disabled in your app store (Google Play, usually).
