Hi,
I have a really strange problem here. I prepare my songs with "Tag&Rename" under Windows. After that I copy the songs to may Android tablet. I really need correct tagged genres and there ist everything fine in "Tag&Rename". And other music player on my tablet shows the correct genre too. But AIMP does not for only a few songs - let's say one out of 30. In the "file information" is nothing displayed in "genre". No matter how often I set the genre in "Tag&Rename".
But: I can change ist on the tablet with e.g. "JetAudio". After that AIMP shows the correct genre too.
And now it get's really weird: in AIMP I sort by file name (within groups), and group by genre. And altough the genre of some files is not recognised, they show up in the right place! Example: one Genre is "waltz", so in my list somewhere starts the group "waltz" and I see some songs with that genre. The - in alphabetical order of the file name - I see the problematic song without it's genre. Above is a header as for every genre and there ist only a "-".
After this one ist the next header, again with "waltz" and the next correct sonsg appears. Until ther is another one, where the genre ist noct recognized. Again with the "-" Header but in the right place it should be.
It's something linke that:
Genre Header 1
Genre Header 2
...
Genre Header "Waltz"
Song A
Song B
Genre Header "-"
Song C
Genre Header "Waltz"
Song D
Song E
... and so on
So the Genre for Song C is not recognised and shown, but AIMP puts it correctly between the other "waltzes". :o ???
