Title: How to resume a podcast after switching to music?
Post by: Dexijy on August 22, 2023, 05:54:30
Hi, I've started to use AIMP not so long ago (it's a blast).

I've started to use it not for music only but also for podcasts with the default plugin. Although as I'm using the app for both music and podcasts, whenever I want to listen to my music I'm loosing the progress of the lastly played podcast. So is there a way to keep track of a podcast progress when switching to music?

As I'm new to the software this question may be silly but I couldn't find anything in the Preferences nor answers on the Forum.

I think that only add to bookmarks. Then in the music library (bookmarks section) you will see a timestamp.

Not all sites allow you to get the "middle of the file" to rewind, so pay attention to the option to download podcasts. With this setting, you can enable automatic downloads. After listen to podcasts "offline" through a preimage playlist based on a podcast folder.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of what "bookmarks" was used for, it's exactly what I was searching for.

Have a great day.
