Often the reis a long (5-10 sec. may be) pause / interrupption until the next track is played. Why is that? How could one avoid that?

At the moment I have about 180 playlist open in Aimp. Could there be a connection there?

Usually, its related to your disk drive speed and load

So simply the internal SSD and / or the external WD USB drive are / is to slow to play the tracks without interruption (when a special amount of playlist are open)? And the SSD / USB drive speeds might be enough for e.g. 20 open playlists (so then ere might not be any interruption)?
