If you double-click a music file on your PC to open it in AIMP, it will keep getting duplicated and added to your playlist, even though it's the same music file with the same path.
Is there any way to ensure that the same music file is only added once?

Sure, AIMP imports your playlist to app's default playlist storage. So, you not need to each time open playlists from the disks. Import once and use thought the app

I tried to edit the playlist manually, but it doesn't load the same song twice in the same playlist :(

Yes, this behavior is by design. Use queue to play track twice
