Title: AIMP CPU Use

AIMP is generally very light on CPU (under 5%), but when the volume is turned down to 0%, it uses 25% CPU continuously until the volume is raised over 0% again.

Is this by design?

If not, does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

[I am using Windows AIMP v5.11.2421 32-bit portable, but the issue has been there for many months (maybe years!), through all updates.]

I always use this one (my own recoloured version of Black Linage):

But I have tested with: Charm, Aimp Bento, Black Linage v.3, Euphoria Lux v.2.3, WZPDefaultHD, Soot v3.7, A4 v1.7...

Restarted Aimp after every skin change.

Same result with all skins.

Ok. I guess Aimp is doing some mining when the volume is at 0%.

I guess I can live with this, it's easy to press Pause instead.

Would have been nice to have a definitive answer from a Dev though instead of just guilty silence...

I just noticed that AIMP was using 6% CPU in the background while being minimized to the tray and not being in use...

...what was it doing? Crypto currency mining? :P

никак чтоль не успокоится, пока -INF не вычислит/(де)нормализует? Может наконец проще вообще выкинуть плавающую точку? А то уже была точно такая же тема (возможно и не раз).

Как это относится к первоначальной теме? Старое железо, естественно, будет больше напрягаться, чем новое. Тут нет ничего удивительного.
