I believe will be cool if the installer had an option of components selection.
for example I don't use some default plugins so the installer can detect it and unselecting those from the setup process
in that way we can have less setup steeps...
I have it in my mind like this
Language section
Plug-Ins section
Skins section
and the most important the installer can rember the setting
so the update of the app later can install only those who is used

well people need to learn better what i usefull and not... what is vital and what is not... this ability is cool but maybe need some wizard or warnings for those who dont know what to do...for example...
typical install (users who needs get it done)
custom install (for power users)

thats known! but its an unnecessary task with every update, the installer selection can add easiness and less time to do it!
