Title: New to Aimp, whats the purpose of the checkboxes in playlists?
Post by: baema on March 27, 2022, 07:08:21
I want to listen to only the songs checked off on my playlist but I'm not sure how.
Also removing un-selected songs from the playlist seems to remove everything except the current song Im listening to.
Can anyone help clarify how this works?

Checkboxes is for auto play feature. Uncheck the item and player will skip it

Oh neat, how can I go in to auto play mode? Is there actually a document for how this music player should be used?

Also removing un-selected songs from the playlist seems to remove everything except the current song Im listening to.
You are clicking "Remove all files except selected", which means only the highlighted files will be left (you can select tracks by clicking them while holding ctrl or shift). You need to use "Remove disabled files" instead.

auto play mode is mode when player automatically jumps to next track in playlist. Checkboxes provides an ability to exclude the files from playback queue without modifying the playlist
