Title: [x] [2367] Sorting ignores full-width numbers
Post by: Voxtopass on March 19, 2022, 03:34:52
AIMP does not sort full-width numbers (commonly used in Japanese, for example) so tracks named with them are not handled correctly. Neither automatic or manual sorting by filename work when the files contain these numbers. Manually adding files through the "open files" in the AIMP logo is the only way to sort them correctly, I think because it uses Windows sorting to handle the files. I have tried "convert non-unicode strings" in the settings, just in case, and it doesn't fix it.

If you would like to test, and you don't know how to type these numbers, I'll type some below for you to copy/paste.
1
2
3
4
5

Attached is an image of a "sorted" playlist.

That works perfectly. Thanks for working on that.
