Question, was the sound processing changed in the versions after aimp_3.22.1182_Beta_internal (2022.02.02 22-41) or were the libraries responsible for it exchanged? I miss the airiness and brilliance of the playback in the internal beta that was released on February 4th and also in today's aimp_3.22.1183_Beta and I find the bass pushing a bit to the fore. The display of cover images on Internet radio in version XY worked quite well. For testing, I always delete the previous versions, including the cache, and only restore my settings, playlists, appearance and self-made equalizer settings by importing the data backup integrated in AIMP.

No, we have made no changes in sound related libraries

I stayed with version aimp_3.22.1182_Beta_internal (2022.02.02 22-41) for now. Somehow, when playing subsequent (beta) builds, the spatiality and width of the stage is missing. I would describe it as turning the switch for the base width, which was often present on so-called stereo ghetto blasters, to the off position. With such a base width switch, the loudspeakers, which are close together, were acoustically moved a little apart in order to achieve a better stereo impression.

I have installed the aimp_3.22.1184_Beta version dated today and finally is the airy hearing impression, as I described it. Thank you, everything's OK again. :D
