Hi everybody,
I'm having a little bit of trouble with my Aimp experience. I love the software and in the last week or so have migrated my entire music listening experience to Aimp, but I still have a persistent issue with garbled/distorted playback when my computer is running other software. Particularly when surfing the internet (through Firefox), but also having software like Photoshop, Acrobat, Word, etc., open while I listen to music is becoming difficult, as when I open anything (a new tab in Firefox, etc.) the music grinds to a near halt, as though being played at 1/10 speed, struggling painfully to remain playing, until the operation I'm running elsewhere stabilizes, at which point the music continues playing as usual.
Can anybody give me some tips on how to fix this? I have "Priority" turned all the way up in Aimp, I've increased Cache to 250mb, and anything else I've been able to think of. Is this just something I have to work around (listening to music only when I"m not working on other things)?
Thanks in advance!

Didn't experience that. How much RAM do you have? Maybe a slow disk issue?

Hey CodeKid0, thanks for getting back to me. I have 6gb of RAM. It seems like when I first start Aimp it runs really smoothly but the longer I have it open and the more other things I'm doing on my laptop the more the issue arises.
