Title: JRiver features: Volume Disable & ASIO Khz automatic detection
Post by: sunny on March 27, 2021, 12:03:12
Three questions please!
No idea whether it is possible in AIMP!

1)
Is it possible to deactivate the volume control as in JRiver?

2)
Can AIMP automatically continue calculating the Khz (44.1Khz, 98Khz etc.) to the SPDIF converter in ASIO mode?
In my opinion, this property is not ideal. The Khz frequency should not affect the player software.

3)
Can take over AIMP JRiver playlists

1) Just set it to 100%.
2) No
3) What format of JRiver playlists?

From my point of view, the upsampling to 96 or 192Khz has to be done by the DAC / SPDIF converter.
Likewise, the volume settings that work in Windows as a kind of preamplifier.

I cannot do without these functions in a high-end chain. Those are the strengths in JRiver.

Yes, this is a pity!
I keep an eye on the software (AIMP) but switching from JRiver to AIMP is therefore not possible for me (Not yet).

Thank you very much for the quick information!
