The only skin which works correctly for me is the default one. It is one of most simplistic designs which I prefer. Other skins I tested are unfortunately blurry and fonts too which is serious issue (I have 1920x1080 screen resolution with 125% scaling), and all compatibility Windows settings for DPI awareness didn't changed anything at all.
For the default skin I would like to make some very important changes if these are possible:
- Get rid of audio pattern and just have a simple slider instead. Every change of track makes large spikes in cpu utilisation which I would like to avoid, especially while cpu intensive gaming. I mean ape files with very high compression setting of which I have a lot (around 500 GiB) are very very problematic. 60 minute tracks load for as long as 10 minutes, and AIMP utilizes 33% of my 4-core CPU. When AIMP finishes loading audio pattern, the CPU utilisation drops to 3%. Compared to Winamp playing same audio files utilizes only 1,5% of my i5-6600k CPU. I wonder if my case could be treated as a bug. Maybe it would be good to have some setting which enables or disables audio pattern if there isn't such setting yet. Converting all ape files to flac would be very difficult to accomplish.
- For playlist I would like to use different font and change it's size, and make playlist more compact so that more items can be displayed at once. With disabled second line info each element occupies lots of vertical space, I can fit only 18 elements (playlist located at the bottom of AIMP's main window reaching taskbar) while with the same height of playlist and same height of font in Winamp I am able to fit 43 elements. I can understand that for touch screens there should be enough spacing between elements but in any other case in my opinion it's a waste of space.

Are you referring to the "Show waveform of playing file over the seek bar" option in Prefs/Interface/Skins? If so, just un-checking that will return the slider.

By "default skin", do you mean the standard skin for AIMP 4.70, Bliss 4K? If so, you can do those changes and many more using the AIMP Skin Editor application. I have the same screen res as you but with 100% scale in Windows, and have AIMP's Interface scale factor set to 125% with text size at 110%. With the Skin Editor, I have additionally changed the type face and size of the text on the main player body to my own visual preferences, which can also be done to the Playlist font.

Thanks for pointing out where to look for the setting.

Yes, I meant Bliss 4K. I checked for Skin Editor app before posting qustion but how can I open the default skin for edition? Could not find the default skin file for editing inside AIMP in folder and if I want to edit someones else skin I need the project file which I don't have?
Edit: Ok figured it out, that I need to edit just the contents which are loaded when starting the Skin Editor app, and save that as new skin.
Edit2: Succesfully changed the font settings. To remove font blurrines needed to enable scalling support in skin settings and set to 125%. But now I have got problem with all graphical elements which on 125% scaling now are very blurry. The default skin (Bliss 4K) is not blurry on 125% scaling. Another issue is that the skin editor itself is blurry, maybe that is the reason that for all controls scaling doesn't work?
