Title: Voice commands
Post by: Cikavelja on October 20, 2020, 23:23:18
Hi. I am a Uber taxi driver and I am using Aimp to play music from my phone on car speakers. Is it possible to go to next track using voice command? I need my hands are on steering wheel and eyes on the road and this option would be very helpful for me. If Aimp does not support that option do you know how that could be done?

No, it recognize, but google prefer own services by default. Anyway, you can ask assistance to run specified app, for example: "start the AIMP app". Now, you can control playback in AIMP by voice commands.

I tried that but its messy. It types i'm instead of aimp. So i figured another way, start aimp in background, then start GA and simply say "play - song-name-" then it works

Bur that seems to be the end of it. Cant change to next song, stop or anythibg else as Ga closes??

Ok figured that my GA voice recognition was turned off by default. Once i enabled it i could call GA by saying "hey google" then just say play song-name
