In album/cards view, many of my album titles are truncated in portrait mode. Switching to landscape view fixes this but is clunky. Please could you wordwrap long titles over up to 2 lines?

Похоже, что если не переделывать плеер под особенности WAYLAND, то будут появляться вопросы/отчёты о совместимости с ним.

Это даже не проблема, а особенность оконного менеджера.
В некоторых случаях вообще рекомендуют править конфиг глобально, а не по приложениям. Тут нужно тестировать, чтобы узнать не ломается ли после этого что-то другое.

Yes, AIMP uses _GTK_FRAME_EXTENTS to specify custom shadow size for Window Managers. So, because _GTK_FRAME_EXTENTS is not supported by Hyprland, AIMP's windows has a gap.

is there a possibility you can add option to disable shadows or any future wayland support planned as all major DEs are now using wayland or shifting to wayland and x11 makes about 30% of linux desktop share and will continue to drop

Плеер / Player / [Suggestion] Two-level radio sorting (Institution / Broadcaster) for PC & Androi

Hi,

I have a feature request regarding the playlist sorting system for Internet Radio streams. This suggestion applies to both the Windows and Android versions of AIMP.

It would be amazing to have a dedicated, quick-sorting option (or a native toggle) that allows sorting radio stations hierarchically: Institution (Parent Company/Group) -> Broadcaster (Specific Station).

How it should work:
When activating this specific sort option, the playlist would automatically organize the stations first alphabetically by the Radio Group/Institution (e.g., Eurozet, Bauer Media, Polskie Radio) and then, within those groups, alphabetically by the actual station name.

Currently, on PC we can achieve this manually by creating custom sorting strings like %Grouping %Artist %Title, but having a built-in, native option for radio lists on both PC and Android would make the user experience much more intuitive and seamless for radio lovers.

Thank you for considering this! Keep up the great work with AIMP.

Постоянно пользуюсь при прослушивании музыки плагином Izotope Vinyl, нравится мне чуть слышное потрескивание как на пластинке. Но вот обновил монитор на 4K и вылез небольшой баг при открытии окна с настройкой плагина. Разрешение монитора выставлено в 4К и 200% масштабирование. Само же окно размеры не меняет, в итоге на версии плагина 1.12 настройки все видны, но довольно мелко. В версии 1.13 с поддержкой HiDPI виден лишь кусок окна, т.е. плагин отрабатывает разрешение, но само окно как было мелким, так и осталось. Скрины прилагаю. Возможно ли как то поправить изменение размеров окна под интерфейс плагина? Пока использую старую версию, там хоть и мелко, но аккуратно можно выставить настройки.
В настройках самого AIMP выставлен масштаб в 175%, но это роли не играет. Хоть авто, хоть любой другой - размер окна плагина стоит как прибитый. Лишь выставление размера в 1920х1080 позволяет увидеть полное окно, но это не интересно...

P.S. Скриншот с полным интерфейсом плагина кажется вроде нормальным, но на самом деле на фоне всего экрана это очень мелко...  Скрин добавил.

Hi,

discovered by a chance a bug.

In WASAPI Exclusive (Event) device mode by pressing pause then play again sound "jitter" is present.
Visualization is delayed in the moment of pressing pause.


No such behavior in:

• Direct Sound and
• WASAPI

device modes

WASAPI Push device mode has no sound "jitter", but a visualization and sound delay. Try repeatedly (like 2 times/s) press play/ pause.

So ReplyGain is ether RMS nor peak normalization.

If you want louder,

This is a very rare case, mostly when a track is manually recorded with MIC or other sources.

All my tracks are created from CD's with ExactAudioCopy or AIMP Audio Converter without volume normalization.

I use Track Gain only to reduce volume of a track. In cases if it is distortion to hear and/or VU meter peaks reach far over 0 dB.

Very common example:

I hear some distortion (my EQ Settings are off) and select this track -> press F4 to open Tag Editor, go to Vorbis an press two arrows.

Calculated value is for example for selected track is -9,94 dB. But, with this value this track is much quieter as tracks with no entry (and no distortion).

So I increase calculated value  + 6 dB, in this example -9,94 dB + 6 dB = -3,94 dB; I put -4 dB and it is fine, and comparable with other tracks without entry and distortion.

And with many manually corrected tracks I noticed ~ 6 dB deviance. This is the reason for my primal question.
