Encode audio files to. mp3 using the hmp3 v.5.2.4 utility, a Xing MP3-based encoder that was purchased by RealNetworks and opened by the Helix community in 2005.
For each of the encoding modes (CBR and VBR), there are three presets(Basic, Advanced, and Professional) with different depth of encoder settings.
